Pretty good for my project

So I was just playing around with some Web3 stuff and needed access to an Ethereum Node. GetBlock was pretty easy to get started with. The Developer Dashboard showed me my usage, which was helpful, and everything just kinda worked. No big hassles or anything, which is always nice when you're trying out new tools.

Consistent service, reliable

I've used GetBlock for a while now, primarily for their BSC Nodes. This latest order for a Custom Node Configuration was just as smooth as previous times. The reliability is why I keep coming back; it's consistent. I've never had major outages or unexpected issues with my service, which is crucial for my ongoing projects.

Good value for my dApp

I was looking for the best deal on RPC nodes for my small dApp project. I used a referral credit and got a decent discount on a Shared RPC Node plan. It felt like good value for what I paid, and the features were enough for my needs. The annual billing option gave me even more savings. Definitely worth the purchase for a budget-conscious developer.

Detailed look at my experience

I recently signed up for a Full Node on the Avalanche network. The ordering process was straightforward through their website; it took about 10 minutes to get everything configured. Delivery of access credentials was almost immediate. I had a question about the Rate Limit Upgrades, so I contacted support via their portal, and they responded within a couple of hours with a clear answer. The quality of the connection has been stable, and the speed is more than adequate for my application. The Developer Dashboard is quite useful for tracking API request usage. Overall, a solid experience from start to finish. I've used similar services before, and GetBlock's usability stands out. No complaints about the service itself.

Thinking of switching from Infura, is GetBlock really that much better or just hype? Especially for Polygon nodes.

I moved my Polygon dApp last month. Honestly, the dedicated nodes on GetBlock feel more stable, less downtime during peak hours compared to what I was getting before. Also, their support seems quicker to respond.

It depends on your scale. For smaller stuff, maybe not a huge difference. But if you're hitting high request volumes, GetBlock's rate limits and custom configurations can be a lifesaver. Plus, they support way more chains than Infura afaik.

Is there any way to get a discount on a dedicated node? Planning to run a fairly big project soon and every bit helps.

Yeah, I got one by signing up for annual billing. It was like 15% off, I think. Also heard about some developer grant programs or startup discounts if you qualify.

Check out if anyone has a referral link. Sometimes you get initial credits that way. And definitely look into annual plans, that's usually the easiest way to save some cash.
